Communications Working group

A quarterly newsletter is enthusiastically produced by members, self care information, current health messages and local services signposting is collated and edited before distribution to GP Practices and community venues.

This Working Group has a patient, carer and relative information focus, ensuring the patient centred care approach remains paramount.

Members are informed and involved in a diverse range of discussion and engagement; Community Nursing, Urgent Care and the Care Plus service are a few examples.

Mental health working group

Service visits and supporting developments are strong elements for members involvement. Members enthusiasm for equity across the borough is highlighted at each meeting.

Self Care working group

Members currently support community back pain workshops, physiotherapist led and referred by GPs. Patients benefit from low level back pain advice and information.
